Technology that moves the future begins at
GMB Korea R&D.

A Journey that Began
with Ultra-precision
Parts
During the early stage, GMB Korea R&D Center focused on
precision processing technology primarily for vehicle engines
and suspension parts and developed test methods and
processing techniques for the stable supply of essential parts
such as bearings.
We also improved the quality of products through precise
tolerance control and process tests thus securing unparalleled
technology and know-how in the field of vehicle precision
processing parts.

Expansion into
Electrified Parts
We concentrated on the development of electrified parts
including water pumps and thermal management modules and
adopted green technology and electronic control test methods.
Since the 2010s, we have secured patents and invested in the
facilities needed for the electrification to expand markets.
Setting our sights on the green vehicle parts market, we newly
constructed an R&D Center in 2024, strengthening R&D in the
aspects of testing equipment and infrastructure.

Leap as an Integrated
Module Company
We currently conduct technical research for systems and
expand to large-scale facilities for the development of
integrated modules for vehicles. We also invest in a variety of
areas including system integration technology and
introduction of high-efficiency designs.
GMB Korea R&D Center is testing designs that integrate multiple
sensors to maximize efficiency, and it has developed a thermal
management module and an integrated control system to
meet the demands of car makers; thus shaping the future of the
mobility industry.
